Karol Dusza was born in Bytom in 1972. He currently lives in the Masovian village near Garwolin. He deals with artistic creativity - woodcarving. He made his debut in 2000 with a successful exhibition at the Siedlce and Podlasie Artists' Gallery in the Oginski Palace in Siedlce. He creates works in the convention of symbolic, allegorical and abstract art. They are intrigued by sculptures of human figures, such as: the allegory of unity between a woman and a man (two boughs wrapped around each other in an embrace) or the symbolic eternal charm of femininity in its seductive shapes, both subtle but too overly accentuated. The figures are deformed as if through warped life, symbolically distorted. Noteworthy are monumental sculptures, almost ideal for placing in the garden in front of the house. The artist is able to get the soul out of the material - its shape, grain arrangement, resistance and even color by choosing the right preservatives. No wonder that all his sculptures are highly expressive. All this means that we see an original sculptor artist.
Out artists
It's hard to write two or three summary sentences about them all - they are as different as their creative personalities may differ, but they have one thing in common - they are incredibly devoted to their work. What they do is their passion, thanks to which the sculptures and figurines they create - or even utility objects - are truly unique. By clicking on any of the photos above, you can read a short biographical note on each and every one of them - but the best way to get to know them is to look at their work. Welcome!
