She studied at the Faculty of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. She obtained a diploma with honors in the studio of prof. Stefan Borzęcki in 1991. In 1991-1998 she was an assistant at prof. Bronisław Chromy at the Krakow Academy of Fine Arts. He deals with sculpture, drawing, and since 2014, ceramics under the logo of the Marius Dydo brand.

Author of over 200 medals, several dozen statuettes for public institutions and individuals

private. The artist's medals are in the collections of the Jagiellonian University Museum, the National Museum in Krakow, the Museum of the Faculty of Medicine of the Jagiellonian University, the Krakow Medical Society, the Warsaw Medical Society, and private collections in Poland, the United States, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands.

In 2018, a book was published entitled "Medical medals by Małgorzata Kot" by Zdzisław Gajda

He is a member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers
